Quality is a common prerequisite on the current welding equipment market. In connection with this ALFA IN a.s. started implementing the quality control system according to ISO 9001 in April 1999. In December 2000 we obtained the TÜV certificate, which proves implementation of the quality control system to ISO 9001. We assume that this certificate will clarify the situation on the complex market to the customer and that the quality of our products will remain on the highest level.
We are fully aware of the fact that without extensive cooperation even on the international level it is very difficult to compete on the welding equipment market and thus we utilize intensively the services of renowned European suppliers of components. We have a very close cooperation with a number of European producers of welding equipment in the area of development.
ALFA IN a.s. was established at the beginning of 1998 by the company management together with ENVINET a.s. company, which is engaged in the development of control systems especially for power engineering. As early as in 1998 we have become the biggest Czech manufacturer of welding equipment. Based on recommendation of the company management the shareholders sold 20% stake to the Italian high-tech producer of welding equipment, WECO srl, at the beginning of 2000. ALFA IN a.s. moved into a brand new factory plant located in industrial park Nova Ves in the year 2002.
