HIGH TECH, POWER AND MAXIMAL RELIABILITY
Technical solutions that lead to high quality and efficiency are increasingly essential in the demanding environment of modern industry.
This trend is valid for all kinds of processes including welding. Nevertheless for majority of welding jobs it is not necessary to use technically demanding and thus complicated and expensive technologies
One of the best solutions is to use chopper technology as generators of welding arc. They keep the advantages of standard MIG/MAG welding machines such as long lasting high reliability and easy servicing and on the other hand they can have all the advantages of digitally controlled welding power sources (continuous synergy setting, MIG/MAG, MMA and TIG welding via single one generator)
ATA PULSE machines are synergic digitally controlled generators of welding power that excellently welds MIG/MAG (including MIG brazing), coated electrode (MMA) and TIG lift arc start. They designed for normal welding of simple and alloyed materials and aluminium alloys.
Technical solutions that lead to high quality and efficiency are increasingly essential in the demanding environment of modern industry. This trend is valid for all kinds of processes including welding. Machines ATA PULSE 2 are designed to fulfill all production needs.
POWER OF TECHNOLOGY
ATA PULSE 2 are digitally controlled synergic inverter welding power sources that excellently welds MIG/MAG (including MIG brazing), coated electrode (MMA) and TIG lift arc start. ATA PULSE 2 are designed for pulse or normal welding of simple and alloyed materials and aluminium alloys.
POWER OF FLEXIBILITY
ATA PULSE 2 are manufactured in three basic versions: 350, 400 and 500. They are available as either sets of generator and wire feeder or in compact design casing. The machines are designed for broad use form small locksmith or maintenance shops to heavy industrial plants.
Over 60 programs are inside the machine memory. They enable to easily weld broad range of materials
Pulse mode
Material transfer is achieved by current and voltage pulses controlled at the same rate as the pulse frequency. The arc power is changed by the ratio between basic and current pulses, the pulse duty factor between basic and current pulses and the pulse frequency.
The main benefits are controlled, short-circuit-proof material transfer without spatter.
TWINPULSE ®.
Different peaks of current alternate with frequencies that adapt to the type of application, while the microprocessor changes the wire speed to synchronize it with the current intensity. This technique makes it possible lo lower the temperature of the electric arc a great deal, whilst maintaining high penetration. This result in better weldability of metals, especially for reduced thicknesses.
TIPTRONIC
The Tiptronic function provides you with 100 independent jobs (10 job banks with 10 jobs each). A job stores all the settings and corrections on the operating panel. The best way to use the Tiptronic function is to assign job numbers to frequently recurring welding tasks or save the settings which individual welders use specifically for “their” jobs, for example. BANK John Cook, JOB Stainless chairs.
Digital Arc Control - DAC
During welding the structure and temperature of the material constantly changes and so the parameters of the arc need to be continually adapted. That is possible due the digital control and can-bus communication without any compromises.
Arc Ignition
Perfect arc ignition also depends on a good welding finish. When welding has finished a series of electrical breakaway impulses is transmitted in order to prevent the formation of the last nugget on the wire end. The result is safe, accurate, soft and immediate ignition.
Function HOLD
All the settings are stored in a memory. When the machine is switched off and then on, the last settings are reloaded.
Powerful water cooling system
is standard for 400 or 500 models, optional for 350 . Function STAND BY- the cooling circuit is activated by the microprocessor as needed - is present in all water cooled models.
Prevention, protection and solving troubleshooting
are provided by a smart system of ERROR messages, that identifies and alerts user of possible danger ultimately preventing damage to the machine. Another useful function is the Default setting that can help the welder in case of incorrect settings.
There is a three level lock function to prevent accidental or unauthorized setting changes.
MMA
All models of ATA PULSE can weld coated electrodes of up to 6 mm in diameter.
TIG
The TIG mode is optional.
POWER OF SIMPLICITY
User’s friendly interface is a great advantage. All settings are industrial standard as found on common welding machines to which operators are used to. In order to obtain perfect result in vast majority of cases it is sufficient just to “inform” the machine of welding method, material of the wire electrode, diameter of the wire and the protective gas. There is no need to set other parameters.
Most of the communications are provided via LCD screen and available in many languages.
POWER OF VARIETY
There is a vast number of accessories for more demanding applications that can raise the value of the ATA PULSE 2 welders immensely.
Welding torch with control module
provides the welder new dimensions of controlling the machine in STADNARD or TIPTRONIC mode. There is no need to run to the machine. All can be conveniently controlled directly via the torch.
PUSH PULL torch
Using this special torch it is possible to reach distance up to 25 m from the wire feeder.
Remote control
Is another possibility to control the settings (including MMA or TIG modes) in order to enhance productivity.
ROBO INTERFACE
The need to speed up the welding process leads to increased automation. ROBO INTERFACE INT04 provides the connection to automated production lines or robots.
Data transfer
The PC interface is a standard equipment of ATA PULSE 2 machines. By means of this interface is possible to load new programs into the welder, save the users programs (JOBs) outside welders or transfer JOBs from one machine into another.
POWER OF ENDURANCE
Robust construction of the ATA PULSE 2 welding machines allows them to be used even in competitive and demanding environment.
